Dessert Carnival!

Postre!/Dessert!

Buenassss!!! Nochessss!!!

Saludotes, abrazotes y besotes

Good Night!!! Since I was invited to the Dessert Carnival in the House in the Roses, then, I'm gonna post and upload a recipe which I've already posted and uploaded some time ago.

It is one of my first recipes here in my kitchen, but it can also be eaten as a dessert, besides, in sweet affairs, is the best what I can make. So, here I go:

You need:

  • 1 cup of flour

  • 1 cup of milk

  • 1 egg

  • A half of a butter or margarine li'l cube

  • Honey or maple syrup or caramel spread

  • More butter or margarine to your taste

  • 1 manual mixer

  • 1 bowl

  • 2 frying pans

  • 1 li'l shovel or chisel

  • 1 big spoon

How to do them:

First, pour the flour and the milk into the bowl, and keep moving them with the manual mixer (I suggest not to use an electric mixer). Meanwhile, melt the half of the li'l cube of butter or margarine in a frying pan. And then, once it's already melted, toss it into the bowl, and also toss the egg into the bowl, and keep moving with the mixer until you get some kind of dough.

Once you got the dough, pour some of it with the big spoon into the other frying pan in small quantities, then, wait a little in order to let the dough cook a little, then, with the shovel or chisel, turn the dough and let it cook a little by its other side, and you're done! You already made your pancakes!

You can add some butter or margarine to your pancakes, and you can toss some honey, maple syrup or caramel spread on them too, and the pancakes will taste awesome. I'll upload another photo of pancakes at the end of this post:

Big greetings, big hugs and big kisses

Chow mein!

Platillo Chino!/Chinese Plate!

Buenassss!!! Nochessss!!!

Good Night!!! How abandoned I had my Kitchen, so much, so it has spider webs and so much dust. It's time to undust it and prepare something from China.

I tasted this recipe many years ago, but I liked so much, so much, that I'm gonna upload it. I hope it results as well as the one I tasted.

You need:
  • 250 grams of pasta (it can be spaghetti or noodles)
  • Water, enough to cover the pasta.
  • 100 grams of broccoli
  • 100 grams of cauliflower
  • 100 grams of sliced carrots
  • 100 grams of green pods
  • 100 grams of peas
  • 2 casseroles, one big and the other small
  • 2 big, 3 medium or 4 small filets of fish
  • 1 frying pan
  • Cooking oil
  • 1 big spoon
  • 1 li'l shovel
  • Lemon, salt and pepper to your taste
  • Soy sauce

How to do it:

First, put in the big casserole the pasta in order to cook it until it gets al-dente, and shake it gently lowly with the big spoon. Meanwhile, fill -almost- with water the small casserole, and cook there the broccoli, the cauliflowers, the carrots, the pods and the peas. Since the vegetables are gonna get well-cooked faster than the pasta, put attention to them in order not to let them get overcooked.

Then, toss in the frying pan a little cooking oil and fry there the fish filets, turn them every minute with the li'l shovel. Then, after that, and after the vegetables got well-cooked, the pasta must already be al-dente. Then, put away the water excess it took from the casserole. Finally, mix very well everything in order to already form the chow mein. Check out the taste, and if necessary, add lemon, salt and pepper to fix it. Serve the chow mein into soup dishes. Finally, each guest can add soy sauce to his/her taste.

Red wine is ideal with this plate.

Atún y Verduras!/Tuna and Vegetables!

Pimientos rellenos de Atún!/Tuna stuffed Peppers!

Buenassss!!! Nochessss!!!

Good Night!!! Today it's Tuesday, and too good I remembered another recipe, 'cause I was about to close my Kitchen 'cause I had no Ideas.

I want you to know that the recipes I upload here I don't get them from anywhere else, I upload them 'cause I remember them, and they're recipes made by my Mother, or they're created by myself, then I taste them, and if like them, I upload them, if no, no.

And since here in Argentina it's still being a little hot (but no longer), a cold plate is ideal. Today I'm gonna make Tuna stuffed peppers.

You need:
  • 8 peppers (they can be sweet or hot; red, yellow or green. I used green hot peppers)
  • The Cosmo & Wanda salad I have in earlier posts (It's just Tuna mixed up with Lettuce)
  • Italian dressing
  • 1 knife
  • 1 spoon
  • 1 plastic bag

How to do them:

First, put the peppers to roast directly to the fire. Then, when they smell like toasts, it means, they're already roasted, and when they're roasted, put them away from the fire and keep them into the plastic bag. Let the peppers sweat in the plastic bag for a while, in order to peel them easily. Then, let's peel them very well; and, after that, with the knife cut the peppers at one side and take out the center with all the seeds. Then, with the spoon, fill the peppers with the Cosmo & Wanda salad and simply close them (don't care if they open themselves). Finally, cover them with the Italian dressing ad serve them in a "Central Plate" dish.

Today, I'll leave the drink at your taste, again.

Big greetings, big hugs and big kisses

Más verduras!/More vegetables!

Sopa de verduras!/Vegetable Soup!

Buenassss!!! Nochessss!!!

Good Night!!! Today it's Tuesday, so it's a new recipe day to give you to talk about in the rest of the week.

The vegetables are so delicious, and they're fatless, so this time the recipe is made thinking of them.

and you know the quantities of ingredients I use are for just one person, but if there are more, the quantities may be doubled or tripled or... but only the ingredients, not the utensils.

You need:
  • 1 liter of water
  • 1 tomato stock cube
  • 2 sliced big carrots
  • 1/2 of broccoli, cut into small pieces
  • 1/2 of cauliflower, cut into small pieces
  • 50 green peas
  • 50 corn grains
  • 10 green pods
  • 1 pot or casserole
  • 1 big spoon

How to do it:

First, pour the water into the pot in order to boil the water and then, put the tomato stock cube into the water to melt it in the water in order to form the liquid tomato stock, then lower the stove fire. Once the stock reaches another boil, then, toss the carrots, the borccoli, the cauliflower, the green peas, the corn and the green pods in the stock. Let the soup reach its last boil, then you'll know the vegetables are well done. Then turn off the stove, and serve the soup into a soup dish.

You can add some lemon juice and hot powder. This time I'll leave the perfect drink for this soup to your taste.

Salmón!/Salmon!

Salmón aromático!/Aromatic salmon!

Buenassss!!! Nochessss!!!

Good Night!!! I have a lot of time having my kitchen abandoned, without a new recipe, but sonce I was making once and again this recipe until I did it right, so then, I'll post it right now.

Besides, now my kitchen will have a new recipe every Tuesday, if I remember a new one. Now, let's try this recipe.

The quantities I'll use will be for only one person, so if there are someone else who will share with you, multiply the number of the quantity by the number of persons will eat (NOTE, only the ingredients, NOT the instruments, I mean, don't go using 2 frying pans, eh!).

You need:
  • A half of a salmon filet.
  • Some black seedless olives.
  • A half of a sweet yellow pepper (I mean, not hot).
  • A little bit of olive oil.
  • Thick salt (sea salt).
  • Black pepper powder.
  • A frying pan (or broiler).

How to do it:

First, pour the olive oil into the frying pan. Then, cut the half of the filet by the half, in order to get 2 quarters of the filet which you'll put into the frying pan to fry. Meanwhile, toss a bit of the sea salt and the black pepper pwoder on the filets and cut the half of the yellow pepper and the black olives into small cubes and toss them onto the frying pan. Then, wait the filets to be a little well done (by its both sides), then, turn off the stove. And finally, serve it into a big dish. It can be served with any salad of my previous posts.

You can also serve it with white wine or rosé wine.

Big greetings, big hugs and big kisses.

Aún más Atún!/Even more Tuna!

Ensalada Cosmo y Wanda!/Cosmo & Wanda Salad!

Buenassss!!! Noches!!!

Saludotes, abrazotes y besotes

Good Night!!! You surely wonder why is this salad named Cosmo & Wanda, right?

Because the colors that represent them are the green and the pink. And, for this salad, I'm gonna use only tuna (the pink) and lettuce (the green). This salad is worth 6 persons, I suppose.

You need:

  • 6 medium cans of tuna (it can be oiled or plain).

  • 1 roman lettuce, big and cut into small pieces.

  • Olive oil (optional).

  • 1 big bowl.

  • 1 li'l shovel.

How to do it:

First, in the bowl and with the shovel, you've gotta mix very well the lettuce with the tuna. If it results dry, you can add some olive oil, or lemon juice. Then, you've gotta serve it into 6 medium dishes, and that's all! Enjoy it!

This salad is excellent for those who want to be fit, and it's also awesome for kids, 'casue they love Cosmo and Wanda.

At the end I'll leave a picture of Cosmo & Wanda.
